What is Amazon EFS and how does it work? Please tell me the working of Amazon EFS. Thank you in advance.

Amazon EFS is a file system that provides scalable file storage for using with Amazon EC2. You can create a personal EFS file system and then configure your instances and mount the file system. You can also use an EFS file system as a common source for your workloads and the applications that are running on different instances.
