Spark is capable to Perform in three modes

  • Spark VM
  • Standalone(Ubuntu Linux)
  • MESOS(Google cluster)

 

By default, Spark does not have a file system. There are plenty of user-friendly, fast and low cost file systems available in the market.
You can use Amazon S3 or HDFS for the business
